Hard to believe that my break is nearing its end!! It has been great hanging out with the family and also just relaxing. The kids are so big and they were so fun at Christmas!! It has also been an emotional time the last few weeks...a very dear friend of mine, Jeanne Clem passed away on December 17th after a 7 year battle with cancer. She was one of the most amazing women I've ever known and she will be deeply missed. Despite some rough days, Christmas was special- just me, Mom and Dad :) Love and miss all my Nashville friends and family....I'll be seeing ya'll soon!!

The semester is OVER & I'm finally headin home.....

Me and Rebecca. I would say she has definitely become my best friend here in Nashville. This semester was really tough for me and she stood by me through everything....A true friend.

Me and Whit!! She is by no means new to the blog but she hasn't been on it for a little while....that will be changing :)

I can honestly say that once I found out my pharm grade, which as you can see was INCREDIBLE, that I took a big sigh of relief. I've told a few people I truly feel like I can breathe now. After I knew I passed pharm I just sat at the computer screen looking at the grade and could not believe it and was just sobbing. I just keep taking deep breaths so grateful that everything is finally done. I learned a ton this semester both academically and personally and although it was really rough at times I am on the other side now looking back with a new sense of gratitude and a much different perspective on life....I think that is pretty cool. Thank you to everyone who supported me and believed in me throughout this semester....I appreciate it more than you'll ever know. "I thought I could, I thought I could, I thought I could...."

Some random stuff to keep ya'll entertained....

Serenity....priceless during finals!! This is the view from my deck

A little birdbanding with Portia (the woman I live with). I promise we aren't hurting them....she just puts this little, "bracelet" thing on them to track where they go! It was really fun actually :)

Two beauties in the middle of finals....looking a little tired!!

Studying, studying and more studying!! It is almost over and I cannot wait!!! I'm definitely putting in the work so hopefully that show in my grades!!

Hard work & tons of praying.....

88%!! That was my goal and I still can't believe that I did it!!

In order to have a chance at passing pharmacology I really needed a minimum of an 84% on this exam. I worked with Rachel (my tutor), studied A TON (as evidenced by the pics) and prayed my little butt off asking for a miracle :) I was terrified to see what got and when I did I just burst into tears! This semester has been so hard in so many different ways but I am almost done and I believe that I can finish and finish well. Please keep praying that I would rock out this last week and a half. Love and miss you all...

The little engine that could

In the midst of the frustration and massive stress of the last few weeks this book has become my motivation to get through everything. I am choosing to believe that it all will work out the way it's supposed to and that I am truly the little engine that could and will. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate them more than you will ever know.

BLOOD!!

Giving an IV push med.....mmm, those are the ones that feel REAL good :)

Hanging a little blood and calculating my rate

These pics are from the lab on hanging blood which is a pretty technical skill....obviously, since you are infusing blood into someone!! Well, only a few exams left. It's kinda hard to believe. I pretty much need a miracle done on my pharm grade so please PRAY that I rock the next exam and the final. I am busting my butt studying and things have been and continue to be really stressful. I'm on break now so that is nice!! Hope everyone has a GREAT Thanksgiving!! I will be home exactly THREE WEEKS from today!!!
