Well, my first Nashville Thanksgiving was really fun!! Fun people and great food! I can't wait to get home for Christmas though...almost done!!

In the midst of the frustration and massive stress of the last few weeks this book has become my motivation to get through everything. I am choosing to believe that it all will work out the way it's supposed to and that I am truly the little engine that could and will. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. These pics are from the lab on hanging blood which is a pretty technical skill....obviously, since you are infusing blood into someone!! Well, only a few exams left. It's kinda hard to believe. I pretty much need a miracle done on my pharm grade so please PRAY that I rock the next exam and the final. I am busting my butt studying and things have been and continue to be really stressful. I'm on break now so that is nice!! Hope everyone has a GREAT Thanksgiving!! I will be home exactly THREE WEEKS from today!!!

Negative: I have not updated the blog in weeks, I have never been more stressed out than I've been in the last few weeks, the stress has caused me to get hives and they are a serious pain.

Positive: You will all be so excited to see new stuff on the blog, being up at midnight with hives tonight has given me the time to update the blog (slight negative), my stress is finally starting to get better and the semester is almost over!

The point of the compare and contrast....I am desperately trying to focus on the positive things in life and let the negatives pass right by :)

Ok. So, their visit was obviously extremely fun!! We did all kinds of exciting things around Nashville which you can see in all the fabulous pictures! I miss everyone from home so much right now but the semester is over in 4 weeks!!!! YEAH! Love you all.

Another lab...NG tubes (which we actually did last semester so....) and ostomy care. It was pretty exciting! Mom and Dad get here tomorrow and I can't wait! I am so excited and we have so many fun things planned for the weekend...it is going to be a blast :)

Just another day and another lab. We learned how to do trach care and trach suctioning and of course hung more IV fluids. Everything is going good but everyone is really ready for the semester to be over. It is just hard. Plain and simple. Love and miss you all!!
