It only seems fitting to close out my blog with pictures of my long awaited graduation from nursing school! Thank you for your prayers, encouragement and support over the last few years. I couldn't have made it through this crazy journey without you. I love you all very much!!

Senior breakfast & dinner
The three of us girls at the senior dinner!!
A lot of our nursing faculty: my favs- first row, last on the left (Sara Camp), second row, second in on the right (Ruby Dunlap), the sweet, little short one that really isn't in a row (Dr. Algren!)

We wrapped up the semester, and our time at Belmont, with a senior breakfast and dinner last week! It is really hard to believe that I am done with my time at Belmont. It seems like just yesterday that I was saying tearful goodbyes and getting on the plane moving down here. It has been a crazy journey and VERY challenging at times, but I know I am a better for everything that I've experienced.

So long white scrubs!!
The Neuro ICU clinical group!

Oh, Douglas.

Oh, Douglas.
It is so crazy to think that these pictures represent my very last clinical!! I can remember those intro clinicals and how terrified I was to even walk into a patient's room. When I first started it seemed like graduation was so far off, but now here we are with graduation only weeks away. I loved my clinical in the neuro ICU and to top it all off, I had the sweetest patient this week! I told her she was my very last patient as a nursing student and that I couldn't have hoped for a better patient! She then told me that she couldn't have gotten a better student and that I was going to be an amazing nurse :) I learned SO much throughout all of my clinical rotations - - bed baths, vital signs, SQ injections, IV starts, IV fluids, NG tubes, titrating drips, intubation/extubation, post-mortem care, A-lines, EKG rhythms, PA caths, and the list could go on! I love that you all have been a part of those experiences and memories through the blog! Love you all so much. Oh, and one last thing - - NO MORE white scrubs!! I can't tell you how glorious it felt to take them off for the LAST time!!

No more goodbyes
Celebrating the new job with mom! I still could not believe it!!
Oh, Isaac. He just melts my heart.
Bath time!!

Bath time!!
Oh, my! Those are some seriously adorable chubby legs!!
A little exercise with some additional weight!
Aww, so cute!!
Celebrating the job with the sisters!!
I had to go over to the O'Connors while I was home (of course!). Cheryl was super excited about the job!
Well, my trip home for the interview went very well (obviously - - look at the previous post!). My heart is beyond happy knowing that these goodbyes would be my last!! No more flying home and then heading back to school. I will finally be home for good come May. Sometimes I get a little emotional when I think about this journey ending. It has been so hard, discouraging, amazing, challenging, amusing, inspiring and the list could go on. It's seem unreal to be talking about graduating in terms of weeks instead of semesters and years. It is so strange, but so incredible. I love you all so very much.
